I’ve been trying to find the golden middle in my caffeine consumption. I’ve tried dropping it entirely from my routine, and results are dismal (usually literally). Too much though, especially accompanied with short sleep, and I’m Buzz Happy Pants…until I land with a resounding *crash!* Then I’m back to dismal.
So I’ve been trying tea. Just one cup in the morning, with a dollop of honey and topped with milk. It’s nummy. Not sure how much (or how little) it’s doing for my mood and my energy, but it’s not a bad way to start the day. Warm, comfy, goodness *slurp!*
I used up the last of my Lipton Green Tea bags a couple days back, so I broke into my Celestial Seasonings Box of Green. I think I maybe tripped into some Technical Tea. Not just tea, in fact, but an Antioxidant Supplement. Huh. And not just tea, in fact, but also eleuthero (root), alfalfa (leaf), and stevia (leaf). Ummm…isn’t alfalfa just…hay? And why is it in my tea? Me and Google will be spending some quality time together…eventually.
But for now I’ll trust in CS not to poison me, or jack me up on sativia, or something equally diabolical. But next time I suspect I’ll look for tea that just has tea in it’s teabag. Arcane potions make me nervous…
